Brownwood ISD issued the following regarding information for those who wish to help the Allen family as they are dealing with their son’s recovery from a shooting injury sustained yesterday at an Abilene apartment complex.

Many of you are aware that our Middle School principal Bryan Allen’s son, Jacob suffered a critical injury yesterday.  He is in ICU at Hendricks Hospital in Abilene.

The Brownwood Middle School is planning to take a monetary gift to the Allen family this weekend to help support them during this difficult time.  If you would like to contribute, please take it to the BMS office by 4:00 p.m. on Friday (tomorrow).

Also, please keep Jacob and Jessica, his wife, the Allen family and extended family in your prayers.

Jacob Allen is a former Brownwood Lion, Brownwood High School Graduate, newly wed and a student at Hardin-Simmons in Abilene.
