KidsKickingCancerTs2011Kids Kicking Cancer team for Woodland Heights is having their Relay for Life kick-off April 21st at the school which will be an all day event.  The Kids Kicking Cancer team will be honoring Gillian Sapp and Carlee Richardson this year, two children attending Woodland Heights that have each battled cancer.

There will be a Mini-Relay for Life for the kids in order to give them a feel for the actual Relay for Life event in June.

Woodland Heights participants will be selling shirts (image on shirts pictured above).  These shirts will sell at the following prices depending on size:  kids $10 & adults $12.  There will be other items for sale such as kids KKC bracelets, and KKC dog tag necklaces.  The kids will be selling sacks for the kids to honor a loved one that has battled cancer for that day as well (which are not the luminaries that are a part of the June Relay).

The community is asked to support this team, as well as the others too, in buying these items that are for sale.  All the money will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

For more information or to order items that are for sale, please call or text Brandy Bishop at 642-2757.
