Thomas Edwin Henry, II, age 42, of Brownwood died Saturday morning at his home following a lengthy illness.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date pending the return home of his son from Afghanistan. His body will be cremated under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.

He was born May 15, 1968 in Fort Stockton, the son of Thomas Edwin Henry I and the former Betty Chadwick. He later married Tammy Ringo in Stephenville on November 24, 1992. He was a Nazarene and had been a resident of Brownwood for the past 7 years moving here from Big Spring. He had worked as a cashier.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Henry of Brownwood; 2 Sons – Michael Henry currently serving in Afghanistan and wife Haley of Brownwood and Patrick Henry of Brownwood; 1 Daughter – Jessica Henry of Brownwood; His mother, Betty Henry of Lake Brownwood; His sister, Sharla Weekley and husband James of Brownwood; 2 Grandchildren, 2 Nieces, 2 Nephews, and 2 Grand Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.
