Glitz & Glam at the Brown County Heart Association Gala

The Brown County Heart Association announces its annual American Heart Association Gala, “A Night of Glitz and Glam” on February 19th.

The event according to board member Debbie Hagood “promises to be an elegant social evening Hollywood style”.

The featured guest this year will be Eric Evans, who recently suffered a heart attack on December 15, 2010.

Tickets to the event will include music, dinner, “Star of Fame” presentations, an auction and a souvenir photo booth are $50 each and available from any Board member of Brown County Heart Association.  Sponsorships are also being sought.

Board member Norma Oliver presented “Red Shirts” to the Brownwood City Council Members at their meeting on February 8th.  Pictured above wearing their red shirts are Councilman Eddie Watson, Mayor Stephen Haynes, Norma Oliver, and City Manager Bobby Rountree.
