The Brownwood Fire Department recognized some of their own earlier this month during their annual Christmas party.

The Fire Officer of the Year was awarded to Lt. James LeMond and the Fire Fighter of the Year was given to driver Justin Posey.

Also receiving recognition and a certificate for Chief’s Appreciation is David Barnum, Chaplain for the Fire Department; Gwen Stone, Fire Department Secretary; and Walter Banks who has been a longtime member of the Fire Department.
