Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Monday, December 27, 2010.

Wednesday, December 22

*1:39pm-Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a complainant that on December 20th, a red Ford truck had lost control on the roadway and ran into fencing and a gate on his property, then fled the scene.  A neighbor had alerted him to the damage but did not have any suspect information.   The complainant estimated the damages to the fencing and gate were approximately $1000.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old Curtis Wayne Harrison for Injury to Elderly and is being held on $10,000 bond.

Thursday, December 23

*Early Police arrested three people on various drug charges after an off-duty Early Police officer, Sgt. Shawn Dibrell, reported to see what appeared to a drug transaction at an Early convenience store according to police records.  After identifying himself as an EPD officer, Sgt. Dibrell made contact with the individuals and questioned them about the transaction he had just witnessed.

Officer Williams, who was called to the scene, and Sgt. Dibrell searched the two vehicles that belonged to the individuals in question and found marijuana and a handgun in one of them.

The officers arrested 23-year-old Jenna Crenshaw and 25-year-old John Crenshaw, who are married, of San Angelo for Unlawful Carrying of Handgun on a License Premise & Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.  John Crenshaw was also charged with Delivery of Marijuana, equal or less than ¼ oz.  20-year-old Robert Crenshaw, of Rowlett, was also arrested for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.

Friday, December 24

*7:45am-Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to CR 233 regarding a vehicle burglary.  The complainant stated she had left her vehicle unlocked and overnight someone had stolen a metal detector and the vehicle’s battery.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.  The complainant does wish to pursue charges.

* Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 45-year-old Terry Nava for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1g and Driving While Intoxicated.

* Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 52-year-old Charles L. Nickerson of Coleman for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine, less than 1g.

Saturday, December 25

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 30-year-old Angela Rosa Marrufo for Purchase/Furnish Alcohol to Minor and for an outstanding Brown County warrant for her arrest.

Sunday, December 26

* Around 7:30pm December 26th, a man was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle on CR 456 near the Lake Brownwood bridge.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident is currently under investigation as a hit and run.  Two individuals have been arrested and are being held in connection with the incident.  The Sheriff’s Office reports that more information should be released regarding this case on Tuesday.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 41-year-old Jimmy Dale Carter for Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd or more.

* Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 21-year-old Joseph Middleton of Austin for Fleeing Police Officer and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Colby Coleman Pruett of Rising Star for Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd or more.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

*Note*  The Brownwood Police reports were unavailable Monday due to the holidays.  Brownwood PD reports will be updated in the Tuesday, December 28th Blotter.
