2010AllRegSoccerThe National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) announced its NCAA Division III All-Regions teams and the Howard Payne men’s soccer team landed two on the lists.

Shane Cazad – Second Team NSCAA All-West Region – Forward
Shane was fourth in the American Southwest Conference in goals scored with 10. He had four game-winning goals this year. He was named to the First Team All-Conference list.

TJ Mayfield – Third Team NSCAA All-West Region – Defender

TJ anchored an HPU defense that recorded four shutouts. TJ was named to the First Team All-Conference list.

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America serves as the recognized leader in naming All-America soccer players. The NSCAA selects All-America teams at every level of play. Through its annual sponsorship of the All-America teams, NSCAA provides coaches the opportunity to help their players receive richly deserved recognition while helping promote the growth of the sport.

An All-Region selection process is carried out by ballot at the end of the regular season. The All-America selections are based on the various levels of play that the school has selected for seasonal play (NCAA Division I, II or III; NAIA or NCCAA).
