Grand Jury Indictments for October

District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that during the October session of the Brown County Grand Jury, thirty four (34) indictments were returned against twenty-eight (28) persons.

The District Attorney’s office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk and a file marked copy of the Grand Jury Report has been returned.

The District Attorney’s office also does not release names of Defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest.

Below is the list of individuals with indictments from the Grand Jury’s October session:

  • Billy Loys Perrie: Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Amber Mae Griffith: Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Sheryl Janine Watkins: Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon
  • Gregory Michael Ohowell: Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon
  • Danny Ray Faulkner, Jr.: Three counts of Burglary of a Building, Escape, Theft of a Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Matthew Thornton Morrow: Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone
  • Victoria Bernal: Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone
  • Brandon Dale French: Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone
  • Lowell Stewart: Aggravated Sexual Assault
  • William Joseph Meyer: Criminal Mischief $1500 under $20,000
  • Kevin Lewis Kessinger: Criminal Mischief $1500 under $20,000
  • Bryan Thomas Calvert: Theft under $20,000-Tubing, Rods, Wire or Cable
  • Fletcher Nathaniel Lignin, II: Theft under $20,000-Tubing, Rods, Wire or Cable
  • Jason Chance Anderson: Evading Arrest
  • David Chavez Ortega: Driving While Intoxicated
  • Joseph Johnston: Fraudulent use or Possession of Identifying Information
  • Melvin Lee Lewis: Two counts Abandon or Endangering a Child
  • Jerry Roger Tucker: Theft over $1500 under $20,000
