The Early Lady Horns softball team has blazed a trail through their opponents taking them to the Region 1-2A Finals this week to face Alpine in a best of 3 series.
The Lady Horns (28-2) clobbered Kermit last week in the semifinal round, winning the series with a score of 13-0 in game 1 and 21-1 in game 2.
Early will play Alpine in game 1 of the regional finals on Thursday, in Midland, at 7 o’clock. The team will then play game 2 of the series on Saturday, at Abilene Christian University, at 10:00 am. Game 3 will follow in necessary.
The winner of this series will go on to play either Harleton or Kildare for the state 2A title in the tournament June 3-5.
