Brownwood Police responded to a call Thursday night after a Kroger employee found her car egged and painted with vulgar words.  The victim told police that a likely suspect was a former friend of hers who was in town “looking for her” the police report states.  The victim told police that Dobbins had become angry about some comment that she had recently made on Facebook.

Police observed the victim’s car covered with broken eggs which were already staining the soft convertible top.  Eggs were also found in the interior that were thrown through an open window and lying cracked on the seat.   The police report states that several vulgar words were written in green paint on the car’s exterior.

The investigating officer contacted the suspect, 19-year-old Alicia Leann Dobbins, by telephone who at first denied the incident until officers told her they would be reviewing the exterior surveillance video and interviewing Kroger employees the police report states.   Dobbins and another juvenile suspect agreed to meet with police and soon arrived on scene with their mothers to discuss the incident.

The girls first admitted only to pouring drinks on the floor at Kroger in hopes that the victim would have to clean them up.   Police then separated the suspects for questioning.

After questioning, Dobbins eventually confessed to participating in the incident the police report states. The juvenile was not arrested at the time, but continues to be a suspect in the case until the investigation is complete.

Dobbins was arrested at the scene for Criminal Mischief Less than or Equal than $500 and Graffiti Less than $500.  The report states that when the officer placed Dobbins in the patrol car, he noted a green stripe going down the length of her arm that matched the paint on the car.
