The Brownwood Lions hosted the Bluebonnet Invitational baseball tournament this past weekend showing their opponents their hot streak until Saturday.   The Lions walked away with three straight wins on Thursday and Friday games, but came up short on Saturday with a 13-4 loss to Liberty Hill.

On Thursday, Brownwood defeated Stephenville 11-6 and then Fort Stockton 9-4.  The Lions took out Liberty Christian on Friday 14-4.

This brings the Lions to an overall 8-6-1 record on the season so far.  The Lions are scheduled to host Hawley on Tuesday at 6:30pm.
