A total of nine area school marching bands will converge in Early this Saturday, October 10th for a Marching Festival.

This event will take place at Longhorn Stadium in Early and will include 9 area school marching bands from Brownwood, Early, and Bangs just to name a few.  Judges will be on hand to rate each band’s performance and there will be an award ceremony to conclude the event.  Things kick off at 6pm on Saturday evening and the award ceremony is scheduled for about 8:30pm.

The UIL band competition begins Saturday, October 17th in Brady so this event is a great way for area school bands to fine tune their performances and show off to the local crowd.

Tickets will be on sale at the gate to the public for $10 and the concession stand will be open.  Money collected at the event will go to benefit the Early Band Booster Club.
