The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Brownwood hosted a reception today for Dr. Bill Ellis, the new President of HPU.

The reception brought out a large crowd of well know Brownwood business people, city officials, and political figures.  State Representative Jim Keffer was on hand to mingle with the crowd as well as US Congressman Mike Conaway who was in town for a Health Care Town Hall Meeting later in the day.

Mr. Ellis was joined at the reception by his wife Diana where they were greeted by a long line of people anxious to speak with them.  Mr. Ellis also had his parents on hand Ray & Nancy Ellis who are both Howard Payne Graduates.
