The Lions (3-6-1, 0-1) have now gone four matches without a victory as Lampasas (11-1-1, 1-0) dished out Brownwood’s third loss in a row.
“It’s very conflicting because I thought we moved the ball extremely well tonight, but we struggled in the attacking third and haven’t created as many chances as we’d like,” said Lions head coach Michael Westerman. “Then we obviously conceded four goals so there’s a couple of issues with our defensive structure. It’s not the score we want, but there were some positives and we’ll analyze the film and look at the things that got exposed and get back on the training ground and try and fix those things.”
The Lions are off this Friday, and will be back in District 5-4A action at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Little River Academy.
