Following Thursday night’s rainfall totals, which in some portions of Brown County ranged from 3-6 inches, Lake Brownwood is considerably above the spillway.
The lake has been above full capacity of 1,424.9 feet since April 22 and peaked at 1,425.67 feet on April 27.
As of 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 24, the lake water level was 0.5 feet over the spillway at 1,425.4 feet.
