December 8th:
– Community Wide Tree Decorating event on the Square from 5 PM to 7 PM. Guess who’s making a special appearance this year? That’s right, it’s the Grinch himself! Warm up with some scrumptious Hot Cocoa and Cookies courtesy of Western Hill Nursing Home & Healthcare.  You can either buy or make an ornament to hang on our beautiful community tree!

 December 9th:
– Pictures with Santa: The man in the jolly red suit is back in town! Get your cameras ready for Pictures with Santa, taking place in the Texas Rural Living building from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.  Share your holiday wishes and capture the magic of the season with Santa himself!

– Lighted Christmas Parade: As the sun sets, get ready for the dazzling Lighted Christmas Parade, kicking off at 6 PM. Line the square and streets to witness the magic of twinkling lights, festive floats, and holiday cheer that will warm your heart on a chilly December night! 

– Christmas at the Park: The holiday magic continues at 7 PM as the Comanche City Park is decorated in an array of lights and Christmas scenes.

 December 10th:
– Tour of Homes: Tour some of the most festively decorated houses in Comanche! Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased by calling the Chamber. You’ll get to visit 3 different homes, as well as the beautifully lit Blanket Methodist Church during the times of 1 – 4 PM.

 And that’s not all! The Synthetic Ice Rink is making its grand return for another year of frosty fun!  Come skate for free on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the holiday season. Whether you’re an ice skating pro or a newbie, this is your chance to glide and twirl on the “ice” while enjoying the festive atmosphere!
