Headliners Announced for 2011 Brownwood Reunion Celebration

2011ReunionLogoOrganizers for the 2011 Brownwood Reunion Celebration announced the concert headliners for this year’s event which will take place on September 16, 17, and 18.  This year’s concert headliners include:

Eddie Money – Friday, September 16 – Eddie Money is known for a string of hit songs in the 1970’s and ‘80’s such as “Baby Hold On,” “Two Tickets to Paradise” and “Take Me Home Tonight.”

Easton Corbin – Saturday, September 17 – Young country artist Easton Corbin has hit the top of the country charts in the last few years with songs such as “A Little More Country than That” and “Roll with It.”   Jason Wyatt will be opening for Corbin

Todd Agnew & Group 1 Crew– Sunday, September 18 – Todd Agnew is a contemporary Christian artist best-known for the song “Grace Like Rain” that was featured on his first album released in June 2003.  Group 1 Crew is a Christian hip hop band known for songs such as “Can’t Go On” and “Love is a Beautiful Thing.”  The Sunday concerts are being arranged and sponsored by Howard Payne University.

Organizers for the Brownwood Reunion Celebration said that tickets will go on sale within the next two months.  Prices have not been released yet, but more information will be announced in a few weeks.  Headliners for this year were released at the new Brownwood Reunion Celebration website, CelebrateBrownwood.com.  This year’s Reunion will highlight the 1960’s theme “Come Together” that is highlighted in their 2011 logo and upcoming poster.

The Brownwood Reunion Celebration is a community-wide festival in Brownwood that began in 2001.  The event attracts approximately 25,000 people over the three-day weekend festival, and it has received over 20 awards by the Texas Festivals and Events Association.  The Reunion provides entertainment by nationally known musicians on a large concert sized stage plus three other stages with live, continuous entertainment.  The event also features a carnival, car show, vendors, street entertainment, competitions, and much more.
