The Brownwood Lions Junior Varsity team traveled to Abilene to face the Wylie Bulldogs last Thursday.

Although the game was stopped due to lightning from an approaching storm, Brownwood made a good showing for the time played.

Sam Humeniuk and Zac Fulton both had 4 yard touchdown runs in the first half.  Matt McCrane connected with Marshall King on a big passing play to set up Humeniuk’s run.  Garret Kemp and Jose Avila led the defense against a good Wylie offense.

The Lions resume play this Thursday, October 15th at Gordon Wood Stadium vs Breckenridge.
