Heartland Church invites the public to three performances of a special Easter production that features the story of a church stuck in tradition and learns from children what is really important — the true meaning of Christianity, and that revelation is more important than any tradition.

This musical presentation is free to the public and will be offered at the following times:

  • Heartland Church, 2845 Hwy 279 in Brownwood: Saturday, April 23rd at 6:00pm
  • Heartland Church: Easter morning, April 24th at 10:30am.
  • The Feed Store, 601 Wallis in Santa Anna:  Easter morning, April 24th at 7:30am during the Sunrise Service on the Plaza with breakfast following.

The play is set in a traditional church with the traditional cast doing a traditional Easter presentation.  Only this year, something’s different…some feathers are ruffled, and some attitudes are arrested.  See what happens when Jesus is actually invited to show up to a traditional Easter play!  Filled with comedy and real life drama, “Revelation>Tradition” will stir your heart and mind this Easter Season.

This live musical production was written and directed by Joel and Sandy Bennett of Franklin, TN.  The Assistant Director is Jodie Studdard.

Sandy has been a dancer and choreographer for over 30 years. She competed internationally in rhythmic gymnastics and trained at the Olympic Training Center. She has toured with Women of Faith, Nicole C. Mullen and many other artists.  Joel is a producer and editor working primarily in sports production
and award shows.  They live in Franklin, TN with their three boys, Zach, Andy and Alex.

Cast members include:  Sandy Bennett, Pastor Jason Studdard, Becky Myers, Mollee Jo Studdard, Halie Phares, Charity Fletcher, John Johnson, Krista Johnson, Pastor Charles Fales, Annaliese Fales, Malachi Fales, Juliana Johnson, Hannah Netherton, Makayla Wise, Madison Wise, Ashlyn Storm, Coy Taylor, Christian Hoffman, Payton Hoffman, Jayden Allen, Cody Lawson, Laura Baugh, Ashtyn Barnett, Jamie Puckett, Corina Arriaga, Raylene Camp, Heather Adams, Caleb Studdard, and Rey Arriaga.
