ChapaYolandaMemorial services for Yolanda Chapa of Brownwood, Texas will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas.  Interment will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery.  There will be a prayer service Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 7:00pm at Heartland Funeral Home

Yolanda Rodriguez Chapa was born on July 29, 1946, in Brady, Texas, a daughter of Daniel and Maria Rodriguez.  She grew up and attended school and Brady, and that is also where she was joined in marriage to her husband, Arnoldo Chapa on July 18, 1964.  She was of the Methodist faith and had lived in Brownwood since 1992, moving here from Brady.

Survivors include her spouse, Raffael Navarro of Brownwood; two sons, Daniel Chapa and wife Patsy, of Abilene, and Antonio Chapa of Odessa; two daughters, Graciela Chapa of Brownwood and Julie Rodriguez of Brady; her mother, Marie Rodriguez of Brady; brother, Ray Rodriguez of Enid, Oklahoma, and sister, Rebecca Carrillo of Brady.  She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Rodriguez; her husband, Arnoldo Chapa; her beloved son, Rogelio Chapa and her brother, Lee Rodriguez.

A very special blessing is sent to her sister and best friend, Adela Kemph of Aztec, New Mexico.  The Chapa Family would like to give special thanks to all of you that have done for our mother, her sons and her daughters. God Bless You.
