EISD Art Students Excel at UIL Competition

Congratulations to all the Early High School students who participated in the regional Visual Arts Scholastic event or VASE Saturday Feb. 12, 2011. Students participated in divisions depending on years in art.

Division 1:

  • Christine Salmon received a superior rating of 4 – advancing to area judging.

Division 2:

  • Sarah Smithey received an excellent rating of 3.
  • Kaulyn Reno entered 2 works and received a superior rating of 4 on both – advancing to area judging.
  • Christen Hlis received a superior rating of 4 – advancing to area judging.

Division 3:

  • Amber Poulter received an excellent rating of 3
  • Katie Early received a perfect score and a superior rating of 4 advancing to area judging.
  • Dylan Jones received a perfect score and a superior rating of 4 advancing to area judging.
  • Will Fisher received a superior rating of 4 advancing to area judging.

Division 4:

  • Lyndee Jones drawing received a superior rating of 4 advancing to area judging.
  • Lyndee Jones painting received a perfect score and a superior rating of 4 advancing to area judging.
  • Erica Hulse drawing received an excellent rating of 3
  • Erica Hulse painting received a perfect score and a superior rating of 4 advancing to area.
  • Alyssa Fisher painting received a perfect score and a superior rating of 4 advancing to area judging.
