Lucille Weathermon Chew, age 81, of Brownwood passed away Thursday December 16, 2010 at Brownwood Nursing and Rehab.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday December 19, 2010 in Greenleaf Cemetery, with Pastor Tony King officiating.  Visitation is set for Saturday December 18, 2010 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

Lucille was born November 16, 1929 to Ellis and Gracie Weathermon in Brownwood, TX.  She married Robert (Bob) Chew on March 18, 1956 in Brownwood, TX.  She was employed by the United States Postal Service in Oklahoma City for 20 years, when she retired in 1990, and returned to Brownwood.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents, and 3 sisters; Vetress Barefoot, Ganelle Stewart, and Earldean Huckaby. 

Survivors include her brother Ellis Weathermon and wife Wanda of Comanche, TX, her children; Linda Bernard of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Allen Chew of Brownwood, TX, Kathy Bass of El Reno, OK, Carol Melton of Oklahoma City, OK, and Lana Gardner of Brownwood, TX, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
