Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday, December 15, 2010.

Wednesday, December 8

*3:25pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 3000 block of Milam Drive, the Corinne T. Smith Animal Center, regarding two stolen pit bulls.  After an investigation, it was determined that the dogs were taken from the center between 5:00pm on December 6th and about 3:00pm on December 8th.  A suspect has been identified and an active report of theft of service has been filed in reference to the incident.

Thursday, December 9

*4:22pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Avenue B regarding a hit and run accident.  At the scene, the responding officer spoke with witnesses who stated that a vehicle had struck two street signs and fled the area.  Witnesses were able to provide license plate number and a vehicle description.  At the time of the report, the vehicle was unable to be located.  The City of Brownwood was notified by dispatch and responded to the scene to replace the damaged signs.

Monday, December 13

*12:37pm-Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Apache Court regarding identity theft.   Complainant stated that she had checked her credit report and discovered an unpaid electric bill for an out of town address where she had never lived.  The incident is under investigation.

Tuesday, December 14

*7:22pm – Brownwood Police responded to the 2200 block of 9th Street regarding a broken window.  The owner of the home told police threw a rock at a glass door breaking it.  No suspects are found.

*9:56pm-Brownwood police responded to the 2000 block of Avenue B regarding an unwanted person.  The complainant stated that a male entered their residence and was possibly intoxicated.  After speaking with several witnesses, the male was located on 9th Street at an unoccupied property.  The male, identified as 45-year-old Enrique Cardenas Jr., was arrested for Criminal Trespass of Habitation and Public Intoxication.

*Early Police arrested 43-year-old Ronnie Patterson for Public Intoxication.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
