KTAB-TV announced Friday it will air the Brownwood vs. Carthage Class 3A, Division II semifinal high school football game Saturday morning at 11 a.m.

KTAB and bigcountryhomepage.com had originally hoped to stream the game live on the internet. Due to UIL regulations that state a Friday evening playoff game must be sold out 48 hours in advance to be shown live, they were unable to carry through with those plans.

Instead, Brownwood fans will be able to watch the game Saturday morning on television. The game will also be posted on bigcountryhomepage.com.

If Brownwood wins the game, they’ll play in the Class 3A, Division II state championship game next Friday at 4 p.m. The game will be televised by Fox Sports Southwest.
