District Attorney Micheal Murray says that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Stephen Sean Atkins pled no contest to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to Ten (10) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jesse Michael Patterson pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence Enhanced and was sentenced to Three (3) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Further, Patterson pled guilty to two state felony offenses of Abandoning or Endangering Child and Theft over $1500 under $20,000 and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division in each case.
