Brownwood News – The following calls were received by the Brownwood Police Department.
On 3/25/2020 at approximately 15:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Ave J for a call of domestic disturbance. Brownwood Police made an arrest for assault family violence.
On Wednesday, 3/25/2020, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in the 1800 block of 17th Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. The suspect was gone upon arrival. An interview was conducted with the victims and a report was taken.
On 3/26/2020 at approximately 15:03 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Belle Plain Street for a theft call. Police made a report for burglary of a building.
On 3/30/2020 at approximately 12:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Rhodes Road for a call of civil matter. Brownwood Police made a report of assault family violence.
On Monday, March 30, 2020 Brownwood Police were dispatched to a north Brownwood Business in the 400 block of West Commerce for a theft report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.

On 3/31/2020 at 21:00 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 2300 Blk. of Belle Plain in reference to child pornography. An information report was generated.
On 3-31-20 at approximately 22:14 hours, BPD Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Booker Street in reference to an unwanted person. The suspect left prior to police arrival and a report was generated.
