Brownwood News – According to District Attorney, Micheal Murray, felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, District Judge, Steve Ellis, presiding.  Among the cases were the following:

Grant Jay Bear, on probation for two (2) felony offenses of Burglary of a Building, was revoked and sentenced to Six (6) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division, in each case. Further, Bear pled guilty to the felony offense of Continuous Violence Against the Family and was sentenced to Five (5) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Reba Faye Buffington pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Four (4) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
