It’s that time of year again and the Brownwood Area Community Garden is once again accepting bags of clean leaves for composting and mulch.

Bagged leaves may be left at the Garden, at 1514 Dublin Street, behind the Central Texas Opportunities offices.  Volunteers will pick up bagged leaves with advance notice.

The Community Garden provides fresh produce year-round to area food pantries; provides gardening space for individuals and organizations; creates employment and on-the job training for area residents; and offers educational programs on organic and sustainable gardening practices.
