Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday and Friday, November 2-3, 2010.

Sunday, October 31

*3:00am-Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding a theft of beer.  According to the report a witness was able to provide the suspect vehicle license plate number.  Through follow-up investigation, suspect information was obtained.

Wednesday, November 3

*9:15pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Borden regarding an assault that had occurred.  An investigation led to two possible suspects being named.  Further investigation is pending.

*Early Police Department arrested 28-year-old Eric Edward Babcock of Early for Driving While Intoxicated/Open Alcoholic Beverage Container, 2nd; Accident Involving Vehicle>=$200; No Valid Driver’s License; Fail to Control Speed, and No Insurance.

Thursday, November 4

*3:00pm-Brownwood Police received a report of medication theft.  The complainant explained he had just filled his prescription of Hydrocodone on October 27th and many of these pills were missing.  According to the report the manager of the hotel where he was staying stated that several employees had access to master keys and possible suspects were named.  No evidence was provided or suspect information given at the time of the report.

Friday, November 5, 2010

*Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Avenue B regarding a noise nuisance.  According to the report, an investigation led to the arrest of 25-year-old Marcos Salazar for Purchase/Furnish Alcohol to Minor and 18-year-old Monica Salazar for Failure to Identify.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
