Cherry Pie Radio Auction Saturday to Benefit Area Youth Sports

Brownwood News – The 44th Annual KOXE/KBWD Cherry Pie Radio Auction will be held from Saturday morning, February 15, at the Adams Street Community Center in Brownwood.  Carl Wayne and Barry Rose will be broadcasting the event live from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on KOXE 101.3 FM.

The auction features hundreds of items including lots of sports memorabilia such as a Tiger Woods autographed Masters cap, automotive goods, food, and more.  Every single penny raised goes directly to  Brownwood Youth Sports and is split equally between the following organizations:   Youth League Baseball, Softball, Centex Soccer and Soccer 4 Fun.

If you would like to bid on an item, you can bid in person at Adams Street Community Center or over the phone. Bidding begins at 9:00 am Saturday.  Be listening to the radio for phone numbers to call in on.
