ShaneandShaneThere’s still a chance to get tickets for the Shane & Shane concert at HPU.  Tickets will continue to be available Monday and Tuesday.  Attending a Christmas concert is a great way to start off the holiday season.

Sodexo, Howard Payne University’s food service provider, will present the contemporary Christian artist duo Shane & Shane on their “Glory in the Highest” Christmas Tour on Tuesday, November 30. The concert is open to the public and will be held in HPU’s Mims Auditorium beginning at 7 p.m.

Shane Barnard and Shane Everett have been touring around the country for nearly a decade. Between independent recordings, six studio releases and a combo CD/DVD live project, they have sold approximately a half-million records. In 2008, the band received a Dove Award for their special event album Glory Revealed.

“The ministry of Shane & Shane is to just tell people about Jesus,” explains Shane Barnard. Their Christmas tour, beginning at HPU and continuing throughout the country, will feature opening acts from Lindsay McCaul and Freely.

General admission tickets go on sale Monday, November 8, and are $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.hputx.edu/shaneandshane or by calling to the Office of University Marketing and Communications at 325-649-8009. Because of anticipated demand, advanced ticket purchases are strongly encouraged.
