Terry Dan Cathey, 68 (Fisk)

Terry Dan Cathey, age 68, of Fisk, died Saturday, February 8, 2020 at his residence.

The family will host a visitation on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street in Coleman.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Brown Ranch Cemetery with David Wheeler officiating and Hank Parker assisting. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

He was born February 9, 1951 in Coleman, Texas to James Carlin Cathey and Willie Mavis Graham Cathey. Terry grew up in Levelland, Texas and graduated from Levelland High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp on October 14, 1969 and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Terry married Nancy Fletcher on January 19, 1971 in Levelland. Terry and Nancy lived in Levelland, Abilene and San Angelo. After Nancy died in August 2019, Terry moved to the Fisk Community. Terry loved to go hunting and do wood working. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a retired oil field worker.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy Cathey; son, Justin Cathey; great-grandson, Zaiden; and sister, Vicki Miller.

He is survived by his children, Patrick Cathey of Minot, North Dakota, Corey Cathey and wife Lisa of San Angelo, Marissa Rodgers and husband Mason of Minot, North Dakota; grandchildren, Ashley, Keeley and husband Gary, Hannah and husband Kaden, Hunter, Braxton, Wyatt, Brayden, Robbie, Rusty, Michael, and Charles; great-grandchild, Raleigh; brother Graham Cathey and wife Patricia of Fisk; and sisters, Karen Parker of Coleman, Linda Wheeler and husband Ray of May, and Lora Gay Dockery and husband Less of Sundown.
