Brown Co. Commissioners to Meet Monday – Agenda Posted

Brownwood News – The Brown County Commissioner’s Court will meet at 9:00 am Monday, February 10, in Commissioner’s Courtroom on the first floor of the Brown County Courthouse.  The agenda is as follows:

1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order
2. Prayer
3. Citizen Comments
(All speakers will be required to adhere to the rules of procedure, conduct and decorum adopted by the Court on July 22, 2019. Any disruptive, abusive, obscene, or disrespectful behavior will be terminated immediately.)
4. Consideration and approval of any Treasurer’s/ Auditor’s Report.
5. Consideration and approval of payment of any bills needed
6. Consideration and approval of all appropriate action regarding the following:
A. Dr. Paul Lilly, Brown County Judge & representative from Thyssenkrupp – Consideration and possible approval of action to repair or replace the non-functioning Courthouse elevator.
B. Mr. Gary Worley, Commissioner Pct. 1-Consideration and possible approval of action regarding
fireworks for Texas Independence Day;
C. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;
D. Mr. Wayne Shaw, Commissioner Pct. 3 – Consideration and possible approval of action to install private line on CR 323 by Zephyr Water Supply
E. Larry Franks, Elections Administrator – Discussion Item – Democrat and Republican Notice of General Primary Election
F. Larry Franks, Elections Administrator – Consideration and Possible Approval of Emergency
Appointment of Election Judge
G. Christine Pentecost, County Tax Assessor-Collector- Consideration and Possible Approval of Employee changes
H. Vance Hill, County Sheriff- Consideration and possible approval of authorization to purchase
equipment for SWAT team
I. Vance Hill, County Sheriff – Consideration and possible approval of authorization to accept donations
J. Vance Hill, County Sheriff-Consideration and possible approval of employee changes
K. Vance Hill, County Sheriff – Presentation of Racial Profile report
L. Vance Hill, County Sheriff- Presentation of jail report
M. Bob Contreras, Grants Coordinator – Consideration and possible approval of allocation of Brown
County share of Unclaimed Property Capital Credits
