Norman Kerr, 81 (Brownwood)

A Celebration of Life service for Norman Kerr, age 81, of Brownwood, formerly of Hereford, will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2020 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.

Norman passed from this life on Wednesday, February 5, 2020.

Norman Ernest Kerr was born on June 29, 1938 in Hereford to Will S. and Ella Ruth (Craddock) Kerr. He attended Hereford schools and graduated from Hereford High School in 1957. Norman married Sheri Davis on May 31, 1968 in Hereford.

Norman owned and operated a Mobil service station for a number of years and owned and operated the Radio Shack in Hereford until his retirement. Norman was a member and served as a deacon at the Central Church of Christ in Hereford and was a member of the Austin Avenue Church of Christ in Brownwood. He was a lifelong resident of Hereford before moving to Brownwood in 2014.

Norman is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sheri Kerr of Brownwood; a daughter, Laura Stewardson and husband Sam of Brownwood; a granddaughter, Kaitlin Burch, currently serving in the U.S. Navy in Florida; two grandsons, Thomas Stewardson and Will Stewardson of Brownwood and a brother, Joe Kerr and wife Barbara of Hereford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Kristina Burch and two brothers, Clifford Kerr and Pat Kerr.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Blue Haven Youth Camp
