Darvin Ray Curry, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully on his 75th birthday, Monday, February 3, 2020, at a local nursing home.
Private Family Services for Darvin will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Darvin was born on February 3, 1945, to Johnnie and Verta (Roberts) Curry in Brownwood; he was the third of five children. He worked many jobs; Wal-Mart was the last place he was working when he was injured and could no longer work.
Darvin is survived by his siblings, Johnny Curry and wife Byrlene, Odessa Moore and husband Vernon, Lenda Wash, Sammy Curry and wife Sheila. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Verta Curry; grandparents, Ed and Beulah Roberts, Oscar and Bessie Curry; 1 niece, and 3 nephews.
