Willie Mae “Billie” (Bradley) Hill, 72, of Brownwood went to be with her Lord Wednesday, January 29, 2020.  A private graveside service will take place.

Billie was born November 18, 1947 to Jimmie and Mary Bradley in Colorado City, Texas.  She attended school in Colorado City.  Billie married the love of her life, Oland “Don” Hill in September of 1962 and they began a life together that blessed them with 4 children.  Billie worked as a waitress while putting herself through nursing school where she graduated and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse.  She worked hard to take care of her husband, Don and their children.  She would go to extremes to find good in everyone, never speaking a harsh word against anyone.  Billie was very strong in her Christian faith, celebrating in worship and bible study in a Christian group when she couldn’t attend church.  Her favorite holiday was Christmas where she baked and delivered Christmas baskets of her goodies to friends and loved ones.  She enjoyed reading books from Danielle Steele to Louis L’Amour novels.  She was excellent at crafts and crochet.  She sewed her daughter’s clothes when they were younger and had learned to sew by working at a sewing factory when she was young.  She loved taking care of dogs and always told stories about the trips she would take with Don when he was a truck driver across the country.

Billie is survived by her daughters, Dawn and husband Beau Bostick of Brownwood & Gerrie and husband George Stockton of Breckenridge; grandkids, Lucas Farley & Maegan Stephens of Brownwood, Tiffanie and husband John Alonso of Lake Brownwood, Chris and wife Victoria Nava of Burlington, WA, Ashley Tvrdik of Breckenridge, Jordan and wife Kelsie Bostick of Katy, Jeremy Bostick of Comanche; great grandkids, Alaina Nava of Burlington, WA and Boston Bostick of Katy; sisters Louise and husband Johnny Cox of Midland & Ann Bradley of Loraine, Texas.

Billie was preceded in death by her beloved Don Hill; son, Jimmie Don Hill; and daughter, Michelle Hill Farley Upshaw.

Services directed by Heartland Funeral Home.
