Brownwood News – In session Tuesday morning, January 28, 2020, the Brownwood City Council received and accepted the City Audit Report for the year ended September 30, 2019.  Tony Krischke of Krischke CPA, PC presented the audit.  “Our auditor verified that the city’s financials are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.  There were no deficiencies, there were no findings so that means the city is operating according to required governmental standards of accounting,” said Emily Crawford, Brownwood City Manager.  The complete city audit is attached in .pdf form to this article and can also be found on the city website at THIS LINK.
