Brownwood News – Representatives of local VFW Post 3278 and Ladies Auxiliary presented representatives of the Brown County Youth Fair with a $2,000 donation on Thursday to support Brown County youth.

“The Veteran of Foreign Wars post and the Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars each presented a $1,000 check, for a total of $2,000, to the Brown County Youth Fair,” said James Masters.    “Last month we supported Toys for Kids but we also do the Youth Fair every year too,” Masters added.

To raise funds to support the Youth Fair, the VFW sponsored a Fish Fry Fundraiser on Friday at noon.  Hundreds of meals were either being enjoyed at the VFW during the noon hour Friday or were being delivered to residents in Brownwood and Early city limits.
