Felix Vasquez, 54 (Coleman)

Felix Vasquez, age 54, of Coleman, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Coleman County Medical Center.

He was born May 18, 1965 in Billings, Montana to Manuel Vasquez, Sr. and Margarita Luera Vasquez.  Felix attended school in South Bend, Indiana.  He moved to Coleman in 1997 from St. Paul, Minnesota.  Felix was a mechanic, loved fishing, and working on different projects to keep him busy.  He attended Concho Baptist Church when his health would permit.  Felix loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Vasquez, Sr.; and one sister, Carolyn Vasquez.

Felix is survived by the love of his life, Monica Hughes of Coleman; three daughters, Alexis Hughes of Coleman, Breanna Hughes of Abilene, Ashton Vasquez of Coleman; his mother, Margarita Vasquez of Coleman; three brothers, Manuel Vasquez, Jr. of San Antonio, Manuel Vasquez, Jr. and wife Ashley of Abilene, Roy Vasquez of South Bend, Indiana; six sisters, Diane Escobedo and husband Pablo of Altus, Oklahoma, Mary Lowery and husband Ken of Ballinger, Norma Cervantes of Coleman, Terry Vasquez of Coleman, Susie Vasquez of Coleman, Rita Vasquez of San Antonio; and four grandchildren.

No services will be held at this time.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
