Brownwood News – The Brownwood Lions are on the road to Denton today where they will take on Alvarado at 7:30 pm tonight at Apogee Stadium at the University of North Texas, home of the Mean Green.  The winner claims the Area title for Class 4A Division 1, Region 2.   KOXE FM 101.3 will broadcast the game.

Brownwood fans are reminded there is a $10 parking fee at the stadium.  Game time is 7:30 pm.

The Lions enter the game at 10-1.  The Indians are 9-2.  The winner of the game will face undefeated Argyle in the Region 2 Semifinals next week.  Argyle, #1 in the state, beat Stephenville Thursday night 63-49.
