Brownwood Police and Brown Co. Sheriff Reports

Brownwood News – The Brown County Sheriff’s Department and Brownwood Police Department submitted their reports on Friday, as follows:

BROWN COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT

On November 13, 2019, at approximately 23:04, Deputy Rodriguez was dispatched to handle, by phone call, a terroristic threat on Reagor Lane in Brownwood.  A report was made.

On November 14, Deputy Smoot made contact with a female victim/complainant who referenced Theft of Mail.  Deputy Smoot gathered the pertinent information and completed a report for further investigation.

On November 14, at approximately 21:35, Deputy Rodriguez and Deputy Mathis were dispatched to County Road 202.  This was in regards to a domestic disturbance.  After further investigation, the female was arrested for Assault Family Violence.

On November 14, Deputy Mathis responded to a suspicious call at County Road 269.  A woman reported a male subject had broken her window.  The area was searched but no suspect was located.  A criminal mischief report was made.

On November 14, at approximately 00:38, Deputy Rodriguez was dispatched to West U.S. Highway 67 in Brownwood.  This was in regards to a pedestrian walking in the inbound shoulder waiving vehicles down.  The female was ultimately arrested for Public Intoxication.  A report was made.

On Wednesday, November 13, at 12:09 hours, Deputy Bastardo was dispatched to FM 3254 in Brownwood, a halfway house for the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.  This was in regards to an assault.  Upon arrival, Deputy Bastardo spoke with a woman who said she was assaulted by another female on Tuesday, November 12.  A report was taken.

BROWNWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT

On Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at approximately 19:36 hours, Brownwood Police Officer Rodriguez responded to a harassment call. A report has been generated.

On Thursday, November 14, 2019, Officer Thompson responded to the 4200 block of S. US 377 in reference to a vehicle that was taken on a test drive and not returned. After speaking to the owner of the business, a report was generated.

While on patrol on November 14, 2019, at approximately 16:45 hours, Officer Acosta was dispatched to the 600 block of Main Street in reference to a hit and run. Officers met with the victim and a report was made.

On Thursday, November 14, 2019, Officers responded to the 2100 block of Slayden Street (High School) in reference to a minor in possession of a tobacco product. After speaking with the school staff and the legal guardian a citation was issued to the minor.

On November 14, 2019 Officers with Brownwod PD responded to the 300 block of Center Ave in response to a theft. A report was generated in reference to this call.

On Thursday November 14, 2019 at approximately 18:50 hours, officers were waived down in the 200 block of Main Street regarding a theft. Officers gathered information and a report was generated.

On Thursday November 14, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Commerce regarding theft. Information was gathered on scene by Officer Sears and a report was generated.

On Thursday, November 14, 2019 at approximately 18:53 hours, Brownwood Police Officer Rodriguez responded to a harassment call at Broadmoor Drive and 4th Street. A report has been generated.

On Thursday, November 14, 2019, at approximately 18:30 hours, Officer Donahoo and FTO Tidwell were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in the 1200 block of Vine Street regarding a criminal mischief. An investigation and report were completed.

On Thursday, November 14, 2019 at approximately 23:02 hours, Brownwood Police Officer Rodriguez conducted a traffic stop on a passenger car for expired registration. At the conclusion of the traffic stop, a man was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous convictions, and a man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance PG1 <1 G.
