Brown County Commissioner’s to Meet Monday Morning

Brownwood News – Brown County Commissioners will meet at 9:00 am Monday, October 21.  The agenda is as follows:

1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order
2. Prayer
3. Citizen Comments
(All speakers will be required to adhere to the rules of procedure, conduct and decorum adopted by the Court on October 6, 2014. Any disruptive, abusive, obscene, or disrespectful behavior will be terminated immediately.)
4. Consideration and approval of minutes.
5. Presentation of Treasurer’s/Auditor’s Report.
6. Consideration and Approval of Payment of any bills needed
7. Consideration and Approval of all appropriate action regarding the following:
A. Dr. Paul Lilly, Brown County Judge – Consideration and possible approval of contracts and agreements for hold-over detention services of juvenile offenders between Brown County and Eastland County;
B. Dr. Paul Lilly, Brown County Judge – Consideration and possible approval of reappointing Barry Miller to the 2020-2021 Brown County Appraisal District Board of Directors;
C. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of employee salary adjustment;
D. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;
E. Mr. Larry Traweek, Commissioner Pct. 4 – Consideration and possible approval an application to install private line on Clover Leaf Dr by Brookesmith SUD;
F. Mr. Larry Traweek, Commissioner Pct. 4- Consideration and possible approval an application to install private line on CR 171 by Brookesmith SUD;
G. Vance Hill, County Sheriff- Consideration and possible approval of employee changes
H. Vance Hill, County Sheriff- Presentation of jail report
I. Courtney Parrott, County Extension Agent and Mark Zollitsch, TAC Wellness – Consideration and possible approval of a Brown County Wellness Incentive program
J. Linda Heitman, Director, Brown County Home Solutions – Consideration and possible approval of request regarding BCHS 2019/2020 county allotment
8. Adjournment
