Brownwood News – In three hours Wednesday, much was accomplished for 17 non-profits and agencies in Brown County.  The Brown County United Way held it’s United Way Day at Underwood’s Cafeteria.  Thanks to the generosity of those who attended, $4,017.45 was raised, a good start toward the goal of $225,000 to support the organizations supported locally by United Way in 2020.  Special thanks to the employees of Underwood’s who came in on their day off to volunteer their time and to Underwood’s Cafeteria for opening on the day of the week they are normally closed.
