Brownwood News – The following calls for service were responded to by Brownwood Police on Monday.

On Monday, September 23, 2019, Officers responded to the 900 block of N. Fisk in reference to a burglary of a building. After processing the scene and speaking to parties present, a report was generated.

On September 23, 2019 an Officer was dispatched to the intersection of Beaver St. and Gifford Drive in reference to a citizens dispute. This call resulted in an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon report being generated.

On Monday, September 23, 2019, at approximately 13:30 hours, an Officer met with the complainant at the Brownwood Law Enforcement Center regarding this report. The female complainant desired to file a report for simple assault (being pushed) and asked for a trespass warning against the suspect if located.  This occurred in the 2700 block of Greenway Drive.

On 9/23/19, at approximately 19:30 hours, Officers were dispatched to a local residential home in the 1600 block of Stewart in reference to an assault. A subject was identified and arrested for injury to the elderly.
