Floyd A Moore of Santa Anna, Texas entered into the kingdom of heaven on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 4:20 pm at Holiday Hill Nursing Home in Coleman at the age of 93 years.
Services will be Monday at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church with Rev. David McLean officiating. Interment will follow at the Cleveland Cemetery with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna.
The family will received friends for visitation Sunday from 5:00 till 6:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home.
Floyd was born September 14, 1925 in Trickham, Texas to William A. and Tina Ann Snyder Moore. He was a lifetime resident of Coleman County where he attended the Talpa-Centennial Schools. On February 15, 1948 Floyd married the love of his life Bonnie Faye Traylor in Trickham and they celebrated sixty six years of marriage. Bonnie preceded him in death in 2014. Floyd served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
He enjoyed Fishing and playing Canasta and spending time with his family. Floyd was a Track Supervisor with Santa Fe Railroad until his retirement.
