Brownwood News – The Brownwood Police Department Offense and Incident Report has the following calls for service in recent days:
On Friday, July 26, 2019 at Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in the 2600 block of Avenue C for a theft report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.
On Friday, July 26, 2019 Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood business, 400 block of West Commerce, for a theft report. Information was gathered, a citation was issued and a report has been generated.
On Friday July 26,2019, at approximately 2029 hours Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to Austin Ave and Prater in regards to an accident involving a motorcycle. A report was generated for this incident.
On Saturday, July 27, 2019, at approximately 1607 Hrs, an officer was dispatched to a South Brownwood residence in the 600 block of 3rd Street in reference to an assault. The complainant began to tell the officer he was assaulted at another close by residence. A report was generated and completed for Assault Cause Bodily Injury.

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, at approximately 1607 Hrs, an officer was dispatched to a South Brownwood residence in the 600 block of 3rd Street in reference to an assault. The intoxicated person told me he had just bought the alcohol from the store. A report was generated and completed for Sale to Certain Persons.
On Saturday, July 27, 2019 at approximately 2204 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of S. US 377 in reference to a domestic disturbance report. One subject arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member.
On 7/27/2019 at 2300 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Blk. of W. Commerce in reference to an assault. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.
On 7/28/2019 at 1800 hours, Officers checked out with a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 Blk. of Hall St. A juvenile was arrested for Possession of Marijuana <2 Oz DFZ and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.
On Sunday July 28, 2019, at approximately 2128 hours, Officers received a call in reference to a possible assault in the 1500 block of Terrace Drive. A report was generated for this incident.
On Monday July 29, 2019, at approximately 0101, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood address in the 3500 block of 4th Street in reference to a disturbance. One male was arrested a report was generated for this incident.
