Brownwood News – The Brownwood Police Blotter includes calls for service responded to in recent days.

On July 22, 2019, officers were dispatched to the Corrine T. Smith Animal Shelter for a cat bite.

On July 24, 2019 at 07:35 hours, a Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to the 2400 block of 1st Street in reference to an abandoned electric motorcycle in the alleyway behind the residence. An owner could not be located at the time of this report. A report for Found Property was generated and the electric motorcycle was stored at the Brownwood Police Department.

On July 24, 2019 at approximately 21 :02 Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in south Brownwood in the 3700 block of Savoy Dr. in reference to disorderly conduct. Dispatch stated that the caller advised there was a woman on scene trying to fight people. This call resulted in the arrest of the woman for Public Intoxication and Resist Arrest, Search, or Transport.
