Billie June White, 80, passed peacefully to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 03, 2010. Visitation will be Monday, October 4, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Bangs South Cemetery, in Bangs, Texas, under the direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home.
Billie was born September 8, 1930, in Castell, Texas, to August and Edna Kowierschke. She married Carl White on April 15, 1950, who preceded her in death January, 2006, after 56 years of marriage. Together they raised four sons who truly believe her to be a wonderful mother that they will miss dearly. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl, her precious son, Larry, and her Mother and Dad.
Billie is survived by three sons, Carey Lee and wife, Juaneva, Dana and wife, Kathy, Darcy and wife, Marsha, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorials be sent to Vistacare in honor of Billie.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Senior Care Nursing Home and Vistacare for all the loving care they gave Billie.
