Man with Fake Urine Kit and Drugs Arrested Saturday

The following calls for service were responded to by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department over the weekend.

On June 22, 2019, at approximately 1:25 am, a Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a grey SUV on FM 585 North in Bangs.  The stop was for defective license plate lamps.  The male driver admitted to possessing marijuana in the vehicle.  After a probable cause search was conducted, a glass pipe with residue, a fake urine kit, and a total amount of 1.3 grams of marijuana (without packaging) were found in the vehicle.  The man was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Driving While License Invalid with Previous Conviction and Possession of a Falsification Device.

On June 22, 2019, deputies were dispatched to an address on Oak Point Drive in May in regards to a suicidal subject.  While in route, deputies were advised one man had assaulted another and possibly broken the second man’s wrist.  Deputies arrived but the suspect was gone.  Nobody was willing to press charges against him.  A report has been taken.

On Saturday, June 22, 2019, a Deputy was dispatched to an address on U.S. Highway 183 north in regards to a civil standby between two females.  While on scene a Criminal Trespass Warning was issued to one of the women.  A report was taken.

On Sunday, June 23, 2019, a Deputy noticed a vehicle not able to stay in a single lane.  The Deputy stopped the vehicle.  After investigation, a man was placed in custody for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.  He was taken to Brown County Jail and a report has been taken.

On Sunday, June 23, 2019, at 09:49 hours, a Deputy was dispatched to a call of credit/debit card abuse, which could be handled by public service.  The Deputy spoke to a woman who said she received an email notification of a recent purchase made without her consent.  An unknown person made a purchase online for $200.  A report was taken.
