Brownwood News – The Brownwood Police Department said Wednesday morning, in a statement on Facebook, that there has been an increase in vehicle burglaries once again but most probably could have been prevented.

As of this morning (Wed), there have been 13 vehicles broken into in 12 days.  ALL of the vehicles were left unlocked with valuables inside, a few even had guns left inside.
